AN ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT ON THE SUCCESS AND GROWTH OF THE ORGANISATION
ABSTRACT: This study examined an analysis of business environment on the successful and growth of the organization with reference to auto auction mall, Lagos State. Specifically, the study aimed at investigating the environmental factors that affect business and organizational growth in Nigeria, the extent at which business environment determines the success and growth of organization, and the strategies to improve business environment in other for successful growth of the organization. The study employed the survey descriptive research design. A total of 30 responses were validated from the survey. From the responses obtained and analyzed, the findings revealed that environmental factors does affect business and organizational growth in Nigeria. Also the extent at which business environment determine the success and growth of organization is high. This study was anchored on Penrose theory of growth of firm. The study thereby recommends that government should improve on the development of the country's infrastructure as this is key to building an enabling business environment. Also, strengthening national- and sub-national-level business regulations, practices and policies as it will encourage competition and private investment.
